2025 Ford Escape

Five unique trims make up the 2025 Escape lineup. The Active trim has black beltline molding and upper window trim, body-color door handles, LED reflector headlamps, and 17-inch Shadow Silver-painted aluminum wheels. Additions to the sporty ST-Line include 18-inch Rock Metallic-painted aluminum wheels, black mesh grille, and a prominent single-wing spoiler. The ST-Line Select introduces LED fog lamps and body-color heated mirrors. With its unique chrome grille, satin aluminum-plated front and rear skid plates, and 19-inch wheels with Luster Nickel-painted pockets, the Platinum is the most luxurious of the trims. The ST-Line Elite variant has 19-inch wheels, a bold grille and spoiler, and additional color choices.

The 2025 Escape has two capable engine options. The standard 1.5-liter EcoBoost I-3 generates 180 horsepower at 6,000 rpm, providing responsive power for everyday driving. A performance-boosting 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine with 250 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 280 pound-feet of torque is available. Both engines pair with a smooth-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive is available across all trim levels.

Ford's engineering ensures a seamless transition between speeds. The 1.5-liter EcoBoost AWD model accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 7.7 seconds. The more powerful 2.0-liter EcoBoost reaches 60 mph in just 5.8 seconds. When properly equipped with the Class II Trailer Tow Package, towing capacity reaches up to 3,500 pounds, providing added flexibility. Multiple drive modes, including Eco, Sport, Slippery, and Normal, allow drivers to optimize vehicle response based on road conditions and personal preferences.

The Escape's interior is designed to maximize its available space, with up to 65.4 cubic feet of cargo room behind the first row and 37.5 cubic feet behind the second. The cabin provides 40 inches of front legroom, while the versatile 60/40-split folding rear seat offers 5.9 inches of slide adjustment for enhanced passenger comfort or extra storage. The Escape features an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Higher trims offer premium features, such as a 13.2-inch display, a 10-speaker premium sound system, wireless charging, and leather-trimmed seats.

The Ford Co-Pilot360 system is included in all 2025 Ford Escapes to maximize passenger safety. It includes adaptive cruise control, lane centering, pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, Ford's Blind-Spot Information System with rear cross-traffic braking, lane departure warning with lane-keeping assist, and automatic high beam headlamps. Higher trims include adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go technology and lane centering, a 360-degree camera system, a head-up display, and Active Park Assist 2.0.
